The Canadian Opera Company hosts an ongoing series of free concert performances downtown at the Four Seasons Centre for The Performing Arts. Concerts take place every Tuesday and Thursday at noon and the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 pm.
The series features established and emerging artists from across Canada and around the world in a variety of programs including dance, jazz, urban and more.

To help celebrate Ontario’s first Family Day on Monday February 18th, The Beaches is hosting a festival on Queen Street East (Neville Park to Lockwood), from noon to 4pm.
The event will feature a petting zoo in Kew Gardens, skating, face-painting, storytelling, magic tricks and a host of other fun things for the kids. Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman of Designer Guys fame, host a new television show, Steven and Chris, taped daily at the CBC in downtown Toronto.
Free tickets to be part of the studio audience can be reserved by email. Tapings take place daily, Tuesday to Thursday at 10 am, and Friday at 10am and 2pm. Audience members also have a chance to take home freebies from sponsors at the end of every show.
