The band Hedley is celebrating the recent release of their book Hedley Fan Lowdown, and will be at Chapters’ Toronto Festival Hall location this Sunday, October 19th, from 3:30-5:30pm for a book signing session and live acoustic performance.
This Saturday, October 18th is Home Movie Day, “a celebration of amateur films and filmmaking held annually at many local venues worldwide”.
The event will offer an “intriguing selection of local home movies and the opportunity to meet with archivists and learn about film preservation”.
It is being hosted by the The Film Reference Library at Cinematheque Ontario (Jackman Hall at the Art Gallery of Ontario), from 12 – 5pm.
