Free Brita Pitcher

To help celebrate Earth Hour, Brita will be giving away 3600 Brita water pitchers, the equivalent of one for every second of Earth Hour.

Take the “FilterForGood” pledge to reduce bottled water waste, at Yonge-Dundas Square this Saturday, March 28, 2009, from 4:30-9:30pm, for your free pitcher. While supplies last.

Tales of a Yellow Bike at The Revue

The Revue Cinema is hosting a free screening of the documentary, Tales of a Yellow Bike this Friday, March 27, 2009 at 7pm. The director, Tina Hahn, will be in attendance.

Request a free tree from a variety of over 36 species, to be planted on the city-owned street allowance in front of your home from the City of Toronto’s Urban Forestry Services department.

Earth Hour Concert at Nathan Phillips Square

Celebrate Earth Hour 2009 with a free concert at Nathan Phillips Square on Saturday March 28th. The show kicks off at 7pm and will feature performances by Suzie McNeil, Crash Parallel, The Matt York Band, Karl Wolf, and Samba Squad.
