March Break at the Toronto Public Library

The Toronto Public Library has a lineup of free events for the kids during March Break. Magic shows, music, storytelling, theatre performances and more are scheduled at a number of its’ branches throughout the week.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2009

The 22nd annual Toronto St. Patrick’s Day Parade kicks off Sunday, March 15th at noon. The parade route begins at Bloor & St. George and runs along Bloor to Yonge, and finishing at Queen at Nathan Phillips Square.

Free Kids Meal at Ikea (March Break)

During March Break, March 16-22 after 11am, children under 12 eat free with an adult meal purchase.

March Break at the Ontario Legislature

The Ontario Legislative Assembly at Queen’s Park is open during the March Break for a morning or afternoon of discovery and fun for the kids. Recommended for children ages 6-10.

March 16 to 20, 2009: 10am-12:30pm with additional afternoon sessions available Tuesday and Thursday, 2pm-4:30pm. Pre-registration is required – call 416-325-7500.
