Free Bike Repair Workshops

On May 27, 7pm-10pm, the Community Bicycle Network will be hosting a free Flat-fix and Intro to Bike Repair workshop.

Mountain Equipment Co-op will be hosting their free bike repair workshops June 4 (beginner-intermediate, 7pm-8:45pm) and June 5 (intermediate-advanced, 7pm-8:45pm).

Drop by MEC on the weekends (May 30, 31, & June 6, 7) where staff will provide free safety checks on your bike.

Mirvish Musical Performance at Metro Square

A free lunchtime concert featuring performances by the casts of We Will Rock You, The Sound of Music, and Riverdance, will be held on Thursday June 4, 12:15pm at Metro Square (across the street from the Royal Alexandra theatre, between Metro Hall and Roy Thomson Hall).

Ward 21 Movies in the Park

Joe Mihevc is City Councillor for St. Paul’s West and is hosting a free outdoor summer film series which kicks off at Wychwood Barns Park, following the 2nd “Stone Soup” supper, this Saturday May 30th at dusk with fan-favourite, The Princess Bride.

Free Arts Classes

The Toronto East Community Arts Program is an initiative of the Ben Navaee Gallery (1111 Queen St. East), offering free classes at their location before and after gallery hours.

In addition to hosting free yoga and tai-chi sessions, a wide variety of free visual and performing arts classes for children, youth, and adults are offered; including painting, music, acting and more.
