Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition 2009

The 48th annual Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition at Nathan Phillips Square takes place July 10 – 12.

The show has grown to become the largest outdoor art exhibition in Canada, featuring contemporary fine arts and crafts from over 500 artists.

Despite the ongoing city labour dispute, the event will go on as planned (The TOAEĀ is run independently of the City of Toronto).

Free Outdoor Movie Screenings at Harbourfront

Harbourfront Centre’s outdoor film screenings by the lake is back this season with an 80′s theme. Screenings will take place at the Sirius Stage, every Wednesday night beginning at 9pm. Retro Reels kicks off with Pretty in Pink, next week, July 8.

Mexican Cultural Festival at Yonge-Dundas Square

Enjoy a showcase of Mexican culture this Saturday July 4, at Yonge-Dundas Square, from 11am to 10pm.

The 3rd annual Mexican Cultural Festival will feature pre-Columbian and folkloric dancers, rock and Mariachi performances, and authentic Mexican food and crafts.
