RDOG Day at Trinity Bellwoods Park

Join the Canadian Kennel Club this Saturday September 26, 2009 (10am-3pm) at Trinity Bellwoods Park (Queen Street West main gates) for Responsible Dog Ownership Day – featuring free activities for dog enthusiasts including a pet first aid seminar, indigenous breeds presentation, Canine Good Neighbour testing (proof of vaccination certificate required), and the second annual RDOG Walk.

The first 150 participants will receive a free goodie bag.

Free Film Festival Screening – Cadillac People’s Choice Award

The Cadillac People’s Choice Award winner, as voted by moviegoers during the Toronto International Film Festival, will be screened on the final night of the festival – 9pm, Saturday September 19, at the Visa Screening Room (Elgin Theatre).

Free tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 7pm that night, at the Elgin box office.

Facts of Fishing for Kids Day at Ontario Place

Saturday September 19, 2009 (10am-3pm) is Dave Mercer’s 3rd Annual Facts of Fishing for Kids Day at Ontario Place.

The day will be a fun-filled introduction to the sport of fishing. The first 300 kids will receive loot bags with t-shirts, hats, lures and more. Admission to Ontario Place is free with coupon available at Dave’s site, www.factsoffishing.com.
