Canada Day at Fort York

Admission is free at Fort York, 10am – 5pm, on July 1st, Canada Day.

See musket and artillery drill demonstrations, hourly performances of fife and drum music, and participate in the Fort York Historic District Walking Tour, 1pm, starting at the Fort York canteen.

Heritage Toronto Walks

Take part in Heritage Toronto’s free walking tours to explore “the stories behind the people, landscapes and historic buildings that bring Toronto’s neighbourhoods to life”.

Each weekend this summer beginning Saturday, July 3 and running until Sunday, August 29, 2010, enjoy free admission at Toronto’s Historic Sites, including Colborne Lodge, Fort York National Historic Site, Gibson House Museum, Mackenzie House, Montgomery’s Inn, Scarborough Museum, and Todmorden Mills Heritage Museum and Arts Centre.
