Caribbean Carnival Toronto

The Scotiabank Caribbean Carnival Toronto (formerly known as Caribana), kicks off with the official festival launch at Nathan Phillips Square, noon, Tuesday July 12, 2011, and runs until August 1.

The festival features a variety of ticketed and free events showcasing Caribbean culture, leading up to the Grand Parade on July 30.

The City of Toronto welcomes IIFA with samsāra, a free outdoor event that celebrates the richness of classical and contemporary South Asian music, dance and fashion.
