Canada Day at Mel Lastman Square 2011

Enjoy free music performances and a fireworks display on the evening of July 1 at Mel Lastman Square.

Shortly after the singing of O Canada at 8pm, Ray Robinson will take to the stage, followed by King Sunshine at 9:15pm and concluding with a fireworks display at 10:15pm.

Canada Day at Queen’s Park 2011

Celebrate Canada’s 144th birthday at Queen’s Park, Friday July 1, 2011 beginning at 10:30am with a citizenship ceremony for new Canadians, along with a lineup of multicultural performances and family activities throughout the afternoon.

Canada Day in Toronto

While many Canada Day activities in Toronto have been cancelled due to the ongoing labour dispute, there are still several events taking place to celebrate the holiday:

In addition, the  Canada Day Jam at Woodbine Park, previously reported among those events that have been cancelled, is still going ahead as scheduled.

Or venture out and celebrate with friends/family in the 905.   Mississauga is staging a day long bash at the City Centre.    Mississauga Transit will be providing free service on all routes, July 1, from noon until midnight.

Canada Day Celebration at Queen’s Park

Come celebrate Canada’s 142nd birthday at the annual Queen’s Park Canada Day celebrations.

The festivities will run from 11am-5pm, with an afternoon filled with live entertainment, carnival games, children’s activities and more.
