Visit Glen Gould Studio at the CBC Broadcasting Centre on Friday December 5th, for Sounds of the Season, a day long chance to listen to fabulous music, meet your favourite CBC Radio and TV personalities, and bid in a silent auction, all in support of the Toronto Daily Bread Food Bank.
Musical guests will be dropping by throughout the day, incuding Divine Brown, Molly Johnson, the Barenaked Ladies, Jacke Richardson, Daniela Nardi, Sarah Sleen, and cast members of the Sound of Music.

The CBC is holding a free screening of Up the Yangtze at the Royal Cinema, 608 College Street. The screening and discussion afterwards with filmmaker, Yung Chang, takes place Wednesday March 26th at 7pm.
The documentary focuses on the people living along China’s Yangtze River, and the effect the Three Gorges Dam project has on their lives. The film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last fall, and was featured more recently at the Sundance Film Festival.

Those unable to attend, can catch Up the Yangtze on CBC Newsworld, March 30th at 10pm.
Steven Sabados and Chris Hyndman of Designer Guys fame, host a new television show, Steven and Chris, taped daily at the CBC in downtown Toronto.
Free tickets to be part of the studio audience can be reserved by email. Tapings take place daily, Tuesday to Thursday at 10 am, and Friday at 10am and 2pm. Audience members also have a chance to take home freebies from sponsors at the end of every show.
