Free admission for “rabbits” at Bata Shoe Museum

The Bata Shoe Museum is celebrating Chinese New Year with a “special snapshot exhibition of whimsical artifacts featuring rabbit motifs”, from February 1 – March 11, 2011.

Bring ID during the exhibit, showing that you were born in the Year of the Rabbit (1915, 1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999), and get free admission to the museum.

Chinese New Year at Fairview Mall

Fairview Mall is celebrating Chinese New Year on Saturday February 5, 2011 (3:30-5:15pm) with traditional Chinese folk music, Dragon parade, and the handing out of lucky red packets with chocolate coins to wish everyone a prosperous new year.
