The Beaches is holding their second annual Family Day Festival this year Monday February 16, 2009 from 11am to 4pm. Enjoy an afternoon of shopping, free entertainment and activities for the whole family. This year will feature a scavenger hunt with lots of great giveaways.

To help celebrate Ontario’s first Family Day on Monday February 18th, The Beaches is hosting a festival on Queen Street East (Neville Park to Lockwood), from noon to 4pm.
The event will feature a petting zoo in Kew Gardens, skating, face-painting, storytelling, magic tricks and a host of other fun things for the kids. Local businesses will also be offering special deals and giveaways throughout the afternoon. Check the Beach BIA website for complete lineup of events and offers.
Thinking of going shopping on February 18th, Family Day? Ikea in Etobicoke and North York, are offering free breakfast until 11am for the first 500 customers.
