Japanese film screenings at Innis Town Hall

The Japan Foundation presents Light Up Japan – a free film series organized in gratitude for the support of the international community after the 2011 earthquake in northeast Japan.

  • Tuesday March 13 – Fukushima Hula Girls, Setting Sail from the Ruins
  • Sunday March 18 – Rock: A Dog’s Island
  • Tuesday March 20 – Eclair
  • Sunday March 25 – Can You See Our Lights, Light Up Nippon

Screenings take place at UofT’s Innis Town Hall at 7pm. Details at jftor.org.

Asian Heritage Month Screenings at Innis Town Hall

Enjoy free Asian Heritage Month Film Festival screenings at the University of Toronto’s Innis Town Hall:

European Film Festival 2008

Eh! U Meet The Europeans, the 4th annual European Film Festival, runs from November 16th-30th with screenings at the Isabel Bader, Innis Town Hall, and Royal Cinema theatres.

The festival is staged by the embassies, consulates and cultural institutes of Europe in Toronto, and will provide the public with “the opportunity to see more than 30 films presenting the diversity and creativity of today’s European culture on recent feature films!

Admission is free, and on a first-come, first-served basis.
