Enjoy a fun day of puppet shows, face painting, crafts, and readings with some of Canada’s best known authors of kids books, at the Book Bash! Children’s Literature Festival, taking place 11am-4pm, Saturday August 28, 2010 at the North York Central Library, and on the outdoor stage at Mel Lastman Square.
The Sunday Serenades free concert series at Mel Lastman Square takes place each Sunday evening 7:30pm – 9pm, from July 11 to August 22, 2010.
Arrive early each week for “Dancing with John”, 6:30pm – 7:30pm, and learn how to fox-trot and jive.
