Celebrate the arrival of 2010 at Citytv’s 25th annual New Year’s Bash at Nathan Phillips Square.
Live broadcast begins at 10pm, December 31, 2009, with preshow beginning at 9pm. Performers include Anjulie, Faber Drive, Kardinal Offishal, Karl Wolf, Jarvis Church, The Mission District, and the cast of the Rock of Ages.

Cheer on the torchbearers as they make their way through Toronto from December 17 to 19, 2009.
The Olympic Flame will make a stop at the Scarborough Civic Centre on December 17, 3pm. Celebrations get underway beginning at 1pm with entertainment by buskers, musicians, and more.
The festivities will continue with a celebration at Nathan Phillips Square beginning at 6pm. The evening will feature performances by dancers, muscians and acrobats, the lighting of the cauldron by Olympic medalist Vicky Sunohara, and conclude with a fireworks display.

The Cavalcade of Lights is an annual event illuminating neighbourhoods and tourist attractions across Toronto during the holiday season.
The festivities kicks off Saturday November 28, 7pm at Nathan Phillips Square with the lighting of Toronto’s official Christmas tree, fireworks, a fair trade market, skating party and live musical performances by Steven Page, Matt Dusk, Keshia Chante, and Fritz Helder & The Phantoms, under the music direction of Adrian Eccleston.
