Free Admission hour at ROM extended

From July 28 – September 1, 2010, the Royal Ontario Museum is extending it’s free admission hour on Wednesdays to begin at 3pm (regularily 4:30pm-5:30pm).

With free general admission to the ROM, you can see The Warrior Emperor & China’s Terracotta Army for just $7 (adult/senior/student), $3.50 for kids – these tickets must be booked online in advance.

Free Screening of Sharkwater

The Royal Ontario Museum is hosting a screening of Sharkwater along with a discussion with the film’s director, Rob Stewart, on Thursday April 15, 2010, 7pm at the Signy and Cléophée Eaton Theatre.

Admission is fee with seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Family Show at the ROM

City Parent is hosting the Family Show at the Royal Ontario Museum, February 6th (10am-4pm) and 7th, (10am-3pm) 2010, featuring “everything for families from education to attractions, camps, family planning, and much much more”. Admission to the show in the Peter F. Bronfman hall is free.

There will be loot bags given away to the first 500 visitors each day, along with draws and special ROM admission rates.

Free Child Admission to ROM (with each paid admission)

Receive 1 free child admission (14 years or under) at the Royal Ontario Museum this long weekend, September 5th to 7th, 2009, for every general admission + Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition ticket, purchased by an adult, senior, or student.

Activities for the kids include the Scrolls family activity zone and Three Days of Dinos. Download and print the coupon to redeem at the admission desk.
