Book Bash – Children’s Literature Festival

The 2nd annual Book Bash!, takes place Saturday April 30, 2011 from 12:30pm-4pm, at the Northern District Branch of the Toronto Public Library system.

Featuring Canada’s best known children’s authors and illustrators, with storytelling, puppet shows, face painting, crafts, music and more.

Keep Toronto Reading Festival

The Keep Toronto Reading Festival is a month-long celebration of books and reading.

From April 1 – 30, 2011, take part in some of the over 80 events scheduled accross the city, including readings, panel discussions, performances and more.

March Break at Toronto Public Library

Free Tax Clinics at North York Central Library

Volunteers trained by the Canada Revenue Agency will be available at the North York Central Library to help individuals with an income of under $25,000, or families with an income of under $30,000, prepare their 2010 income tax returns.

The free clinics will run Tuesdays-Fridays, 9am-2pm from March 1 to April 29, 2011 and is on a first come/first served basis.
