The TD Irie Music Festival runs Friday July 29 – Monday August 1, 2011, featuring performances at Queen’s Park and Yonge-Dundas Square, along with film screenings and art displays at City Hall.
The free event celebrates music, “from Reggae to Salsa, Soul to African; dance from the African Diaspora presented in association with dance Immersion, spoken word/literature, visual arts exhibition, movies, delicious tropical food & drinks and more”.

The 5th annual Youth Day, takes place Sunday July 24, 2011, 11:30am-10:00pm, at Yonge-Dundas Square, showcasing the music, dance, art, and photography of young artists.

The Live Green Toronto Festival, takes place Saturday July 16, 2011 (11am-8pm), at Yonge-Dundas Square and along Yonge St, from Dundas to Queen, featuring over 100 exhibitors showcasing green products and services.
The event will also include buskers, kids activites and free music performances from Done with Dolls, Neverest, Tyler Medeiros, Meaghan Smith, God Made Me Funky, Crash Test Dummies, Lowest of the Low, These Kids Wear Crowns, Classified, and DJ Skratch Bastid.
